DAY 1st Home country –Tashkent (flight)

Departure flight from home country. Night in the board.

DAY 2nd Tashkent – Urgench – Khiva BLD

Arrival in Tashkent in the morning. Meeting by English speaking guide. Transfert to the hotel Uzbekistan 4* to refresh & for the breakfast.
After breakfast, we begin our tour. At first, we will visit Chorsu bazaar where they are put for sale a variety of local products and crafts. After visiting old city: the mausoleum of Abu Bakr Kaffal Shaoshi, Madrassa Barak Khan, the mosque Telyashaykh, Madrassa Kukeldash, and Juma Mosque.
Departure to the domestic airport, flight to Urgench. After arriving transfer to Khiva. Accommodation in the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 3rd Khiva BLD

Breakfast in the hotel. Today you enjoy a full day tour of Khiva, the city of a thousand and one domes. Khiva is one of the remarkable cities of the oasis of Khorezm. Capital of the khanat as of the XVII century, it was one of the largest markets of Central Asia and its prosperity lasted until the beginning of the XX century. Today, the interior city Itchan Kala is a true open museum where one can admire the authenticity of the monuments Ichan Kala, the inner fortress, is a museum in the open. You will visit Muhammad Aminkhan Madrassah and its minaret, Kunya Ark and Juma Mosque with 218 wooden pillars, the Harem of Khiva Khans, mausoleum of Pakhlavan Makhmud, a famous ancient wrestler and poet who patronized Khiva. After lunch you will visit Islam Khodja complex. It will provide you with a breathtaking view of Khiva from the top of its minaret. Overnight in Khiva.

DAY 4th Khiva – Bukhara BLD

Breakfast. Transfer to Bukhara through the Kyzyl Kum (450km). Panorama of the Amu Darya river. Arrival in Bukhara. Accommodation. Free time. Overnight in a hotel.

DAY 5th Bukhara BLD

After breakfast beginning tour of the city. Bukhara is the real Oriental fairy-tale, city with small romantic streets, which unsurpassed has preserved the beauty and charm of the ancient walls. Monuments here are located close to each other and that's why sightseeing tour will be organized without use of vehicle. Today you will see: Samanids' dynasty mausoleum (IX-X cc), Chashma-Ayubburial-vault (XIV-XIX cc), Kalon ensemble, Madrassah Miri-Arab, Madrassah Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan, Lyabi Hauz complex (XVI-XVII), Kukeldash Madrassah (1568), Arc Fortress (VI-VIIcc), Chor-Minor Madrassah, Don't forget to visit trade domes of ancient Bukhara bazaar-even in case you won't buy any souvenir or Bukhara ancient adornment (that is highly unlikely)you will get many pleasant impressions and gain extensive insight about Orient and its inhabitants. Overnight in Bukhara.

DAY 6th Bukhara – Gijduvan – Nurata – Yangigazgan (yurt camp) BLD

Departure to Yanguikazagan. In the road, stop to visit Guijdouvan and its workshop of ceramists. Lunch at homestay in Nourata. Visit: the ruins of the fortress of Alexander the Great, in the form of a Little Bear, the fourteenth-century Tchil Ustun mosque with the 40 columns, the 16th century Panjvakhta mosque (the 5 prayers), the mausoleum of Sheikh Abdoul Hasan Nouri 8th century). Departure for Yangui Gazgan. Arrival at the yurt camp and installation in the yurt. Walk in the desert (about an hour). Open-air dinner and recital of Kazakh songs around the fire. Night at the yurt.

DAY 7th Yangigazgan (yurt camp) – Samarkand 230 km BLD

Departure for Lake Aydarkoul, swimming according to weather ... Picnic. Road to Samarkand. via the Khartang village where we visit the monument complex of Ismail al-Bukhari, a great scholar of Islam, who collected the hadith (the words of Muhammad) considered to be the most truthful. Arrival in Samarkand, installation at the hotel for two nights.
Dinner free at the local restraunt.

DAY 8th Samarkand BLD

After breakfast starting of sightseeing tour in "Eden of the Orient"- that name was given to Samarkand by the philosophers and poets of the past. Today you will see this famous city in all its beauty : visit Registan square (XVII c) including Ulugbek Madrassah (1417-1420), Sher-Dor Madrassah (1619-1636), Tillya-Kori (1647-1660) Madrassah, Gur-Emir mausoleum , Bibi-Khanum mosque (XVc.), Shokhi-Zinda (XII-XVc) architectural assemble, Ulugbek observatory(XVc.). Overnight in Samarkand.

DAY 9th Samarkand – Tashkent 280 km BLD

Morning visit to the silk carpet factory or you can see all the process of making the carpet on a guided tour. And also you’ll have a lot of time for visiting Oriental bazaar Siab. Here you will find everything you want… traditional clothes, food and souvenirs.
Towards the end of the afternoon transfer to the destination of Tashkent. Arrival at the hotel.
Dinner free. Overnight at hotel Uzbekistan 4* or similar.

DAY 10th Tashkent B

Transfer to the airport according to the return flight schedules and flight to Europe. End of our services.

Registration and Regulations

Registration for this trip will be taken into account after confirming in writing and paid by the participant, a booking deposit of 30% of the total amount of the trip. An invoice with the payment method of down payment will be sent to you by e-mail after your acceptance of estimate. The balance must be settled imperatively one month before the date of the departure, without revive of our part. In case of registration less than one month of departure, it is the entirety of the payment that you will be asked for when accepting the estimate.

Cancellation by the customer:

In case of cancellation of your share (for any reason), more than 60 days of departure, the sums paid as deposit will be reimbursed, except with a fixed amount of 100 dollars per person ( Fees and bank charges).

From 60 days of departure, cancellation will entail the application of the following scale of retention:

  • Between 60 and 45 days: 25% of the travel price
  • Between 44 and 25 days: 50% of the travel price
  • Between 24 and 15 days: 75% of the travel price
  • Between 14 and 7 days: 90% of the travel price
  • Less than 7 days: 100% of the travel price

Please note: in the event of cancellation by you, we will notify you as soon as possible by e-mail or fax, as it is the date of reception of cancellation will be allowed for the calculation of the refund.

Any trip interrupted or abbreviated by the entrant for any reason whatsoever, does not give rise to any refund.

Cancellation from Shéhérazade Travel:

A cancellation can occur in circumstances imposed and beyond our control (political unrest, security problem, ...) In these cases of cancellation, the full refund of the sums paid will be made by Shéhérazade Voyages, but no other compensatory allowances Will be granted.
