DAY 1st Arrival to Tashkent

Arrive to Tashkent. Meet by ESG and coach.
Transfer to hotel for freshen up and for the breakfast.
First discovery of the capital of Uzbekistan. Visit: Khazrat Imam Complexe, the mausoleum of Abu Bakr Kaffal Shoshi, Madrassa Barak Khan, the mosque Telyashaykh, Medressa Kukeldash, bazar Chorsu where they are put for sale a variety of local products and crafts.
Visit some metro stations unique in Central Asia, stroll on the Independence Square and Place of Memory.
Overnight in hotel.

DAY 2nd Tashkent – Samarkand 300 km

Early breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the railway station. Depart to Samarkand by high-speed train at 07:28AM/09:38AM.
Discovery of Samarkand, visit Registan square, Bibi-Khanum mosque (XVc.), Shokhi-Zinda (XII-XVc) architectural assemble, and you will have a lot of time for visiting Oriental bazaar Siab. Here you will find everything you want… traditional clothes, food and souvenirs. Lunch at the local restraunt.
Afternoon continuation of visits to the mausoleum of Gur Emir, observatory of Ulugbek built on the hill of Tai-i-Rassad and whose giant sextant was among the most powerful instruments of his time, we will evoke the fascinating personality of the grandson of Tamerlane, prince poet, philosopher and astronomer and the museum of Afrosiyob.
Dinner and Overnight in Samarkand.

DAY 3rd Samarkand – Gijduvan - Bukhara 280km

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Bukhara (4 hours). Stop at the Gijduvan. Visit ceramic atelier. Continuation of transferring to Bukhara. After arrival, check in at the hotel.
Visit the citadel of the Ark (formerly residence of the Emir), the mausoleum of Ismael Samani in brick and that of Tcheshma Ayoub, the "source of Job" the Kalian mosque and the madrasah of Ulug Beg, overseen by their imposing minarets.
The Tok Sarrafon (money changers market) and the Tok Telpakfourouchon (hatters market), which are now home to handicraft shops, the curious small medersa of Chor Minor and the Liabi Khaouz pond complex will also part of our visits.
Dinner with Folklore Dance and Fashion Show at Nadir Divan-Beghi Madrasa.
Overnight at the guesthouse.

DAY 4th Bukhara

Excursion to the extramural: Bahouvuddin Naqshbandi architectural ensemble, summer palace of the Emirs Sitorai Mohi Hossa, necropolis of Chor Bakr. A half day of strolling in this oasis will complete our stay in Bukhara that so many cultures have successively marked their footprint.
Free time.
Night at the hotel.

DAY 5th Bukhara – Khiva

Depart Bukhara by coach to Khiva driving through the Kyzyl-Kum Desert.
In the route, enjoy the view of Amu Darya. Lunch at local restaurant.
Arrive in Khiva. Walk around of ancient city.
Dinner and Overnight in Khiva.

DAY 6th Khiva

Khiva - the most isolated oasis of the ancient Silk Road, today intact. Visit the city which sheltered under its pink clay ramparts famous scientists, such AI Khawarizmi, the father of logarithms or Avicenna, the great doctor and philosopher who was born more than a thousand years ago not far from Bukhara and whose influence remained preponderant in the West until the end of the 17th century. At the turn of the streets of this city of unspeakable charm are revealed mosques, medersas, mausoleums or other caravanserais: the truncated minaret of Kalta Minor raises to the sky the scholarly canvas of his predominantly blue ceramics. The Djuma Mosque is based on its 218 wooden columns, many of which are ancient and finely decorated. Tach Khaouli's palace (and particularly the harem), built in the 19th century, reflects the opulence and extravagance of the potentates of that time, the ramparts of Kounia Ark, the old citadel, dominate the city-museum and its monuments.
Continuation of visits, to mausoleum of Pahlavon Mahmoud, Islam Khodja madrassa, the bazaar.
Afternoon free time. Free time at your leisure.
Dinner and Overnight in Khiva.

DAY 7th Khiva (Urgench) – Tashkent – back to home country

Transfer to Urgench (30km). Morning flight to Tashkent 09:35/10:55am.
According to the schedule of international flight transfert to the airport and return to home country.

We always reserve the right to choose a similar one if there is no free space at the time of booking. We will send you a final confirmation of the hotels one month before departure.

Registration and Regulations

Registration for this trip will be taken into account after confirming in writing and paid by the participant, a booking deposit of 30% of the total amount of the trip. An invoice with the payment method of down payment will be sent to you by e-mail after your acceptance of estimate. The balance must be settled imperatively one month before the date of the departure, without revive of our part. In case of registration less than one month of departure, it is the entirety of the payment that you will be asked for when accepting the estimate.

Cancellation by the customer:

In case of cancellation of your share (for any reason), more than 60 days of departure, the sums paid as deposit will be reimbursed, except with a fixed amount of 100 dollars per person ( Fees and bank charges).

From 60 days of departure, cancellation will entail the application of the following scale of retention:

  • Between 60 and 45 days: 25% of the travel price
  • Between 44 and 25 days: 50% of the travel price
  • Between 24 and 15 days: 75% of the travel price
  • Between 14 and 7 days: 90% of the travel price
  • Less than 7 days: 100% of the travel price

Please note: in the event of cancellation by you, we will notify you as soon as possible by e-mail or fax, as it is the date of reception of cancellation will be allowed for the calculation of the refund.

Any trip interrupted or abbreviated by the entrant for any reason whatsoever, does not give rise to any refund.

Cancellation from Shéhérazade Travel:

A cancellation can occur in circumstances imposed and beyond our control (political unrest, security problem, ...) In these cases of cancellation, the full refund of the sums paid will be made by Shéhérazade Voyages, but no other compensatory allowances Will be granted.
